TimeBridge Solves Scheduling Mess
The pains of scheduling meetings are near and dear to us here at LaunchSquad, which is why we’re very excited about the launch of our client TimeBridge’s Personal Scheduling Manager yesterday. TimeBridge makes coordinating meetings far easier, integrates with Outlook and Google calendars, and works on any email client.
The problems with scheduling are largely social issues of communication and availability, and it’s interesting to see companies like TimeBridge use technology to tackle these problems. It’s lightweight Web 2.0 that works with the programs you use everyday and solves a real issue faced by so many people. We’ve started using TimeBridge here at LaunchSquad, and it’s already having a big impact for us.
We encourage you to try TimeBridge out, and if you schedule a meeting with us, keep an eye out for that TimeBridge email in your inbox!
Adam interviewed at Gnomedex
Check out this podcast interview with Adam Metz, our head of social media services, from the “Capturing the Conversation” folks. Adam discusses a variety of timely issues regarding what companies need to be thinking about within the social media sphere and some of our recent work in this area.
The podcast was recorded at last week’s Gnomedex conference in Seattle.

- AnchorFree (Sunnyvale, Calif), our newest client, which is building a nationwide network of free wi-fi hotspots that create highly targeted and localized advertising opportunities.
- BarelyPolitical.com (New York, NY): we’ve already talked some about these folks on our blogs; they are the genius behind a wave of hugely successful videos highlighted by the now legendary Obama Girl.
- Inside View (San Bruno, Calif.), which offers a new class of sales performance technology the helps companies engage customers and close sales.
- Mochila (New York, NY), an online content marketplace for publishers, editors, creators and advertisers.
- Networked Insights (Madison, Wisconsin), a company we’ll be launching in the coming weeks.

Enterprise social media is now Aware!
If you haven’t already heard, our client iUpload has changed its name to Awareness to better reflect the benefits their enterprise social media platform brings to customers (and already the name is getting some great kudos from the media and customers).
Awareness has been making some major headway into the Enterprise 2.0 space with deployments at major brands such as Northwestern Mutual, Kodak and The New York Times, and along with some significant summer news, the company is getting even more traction. eWeek, NetworkWorld and Computerworld, among a host of others, covered our product news, funding from Greylock Partners and North Bridge Venture Partners as well as a the significant expansion of their management team, including CEO John Bruce.
Awareness has come a long way since we started working with them in early 2005 (including moving their headquarters from Toronto to Boston), and these developments mark an exciting new era for them, so stay tuned or visit Awareness’ own community to keep tabs on one of the most important Enterprise 2.0 innovators.
Go Awareness!
Two LaunchSquad Clients Selected to AlwaysOn 100
At this week’s AlwaysOn Stanford Summit, LaunchSquad clients SuccessFactors and Unwired Nation were selected to the AlwaysOn 100 from nearly 600 nominations.
At the event, Unwired Nation’s CEO Indy Gill unveiled a new voice publishing platform that helps business extend web content to consumers who opt in to receive voice messages and notifications. Check out this Reuters story which does a great job of summarizing what the company is all about.

SuccessFactors, which was also recently selected as one of the 50 Best Places to Work by the Society of Human Resource Management, is leading the charge in delivering on-demand talent and performance management solutions.
Congrats to both on being recognized amongst the world’s top private companies.
LaunchSquad New York opens
Today marks an exciting day for LaunchSquad with the opening of our New York office in Manhattan, located in Chelsea just blocks away from Penn Station and Herald Square. We are currently working with two New York-based clients, including a stealth search company and Mochila, an online content marketplace for publishers, editors and advertisers, in addition to the now-Boston-based Awareness (formerly iUpload).
We’re also welcoming today our newest team members: Julia Davis and Eleni Bourinaris, who will be based in NY and joins as our 25th employee.
So LaunchSquad is now officially a bi-coastal agency; there’s lot of exciting innovation going on in the East Coast and we’re looking forward to being a part of the action.
