Will Blog for Food

LaunchSquad’s Kasey Fleisher, one of our many resident food fiends, has taken to writing about her food adventures–both at home and on the town–at her blog called eating/sf. What started as a way to share fun ramblings about eating adventures in San Francisco, farmer’s market excursions and dinner party menus with a few friends, has turned into an avid moonlighting gig.

As the blogosphere continues to evolve, interactive conversations are being supplanted by a slew of social media developments, and it’s exciting to see some of our folks contributing to these communities, whether it’s Stranger Dance, HellaFrank, or the soon-to-be re-vamped Green Amy.

Check out Kasey’s blog for food musings, recipe ideas and restaurant reviews in San Francisco and beyond. While you’re at it, subscribe to her feed, too. Happy eating (and not burning things in the kitchen)!

TimeBridge Announces New Apple iCal, Mobile Integration

Last week TimeBridge – makers of the super useful Personal Scheduling Assistant – announced a few milestones, highlighted in this TechCrunch story. First, TimeBridge is now the first and only scheduling application to fully integrate with the three main calendar applications: Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar and now Apple iCal. Of course you can still use TimeBridge no matter what your calendar of choice is, but now Mac users can enjoy the integrated meeting services of scheduling and availability sharing.

TimeBridge has also hit an exciting user milestone: a mere eight months after its official launch, already 100,000 people at more than 8,000 businesses now depend on TimeBridge to solve their scheduling dilemmas. This number marks great growth for TimeBridge and we can’t wait to see it get bigger and start receiving even more TimeBridge invites in our inboxes instead of those endless back and forth email exchanges just to nail down a meeting time!

Elephant Sighting at the Apple Store?

Big news out of the San Francisco Apple Store — the Evernote elephant has been spotted in the window! Our client, Evernote, launched its iPhone application in July to great reviews and has been consistently ranked as one of the top apps in Apple’s AppStore. This week, we announced the application’s latest update, which for the first time allows users to find memories by location and email notes to friends.

We’re pretty psyched to have the Evernote elephant up front and center, so if you happen to be ambling down Market Street be sure to stop by and take a peek!

New York Office Keeps on Rolling

Just a month after celebrating our one-year anniversary in New York, our five-person East Coast team has moved into new office space at 1375 Broadway, a few blocks away from Bryant Park. We are sharing our new space with product design firm Birsel + Seck. Our new digs are located in the penthouse on the 27th floor, which has great views of the City, including the Empire State Building.

We also just signed up two new East Coast clients, both based in Manhattan. Last week, we started working with Usablenet, which helps companies like American Airlines, Amtrak, Marriott and NYC.gov implement mobile Web sites. Later this month, we are going to start working with a hot new media company called Real Time Content (RTC), which is jointly funded by BT and New Venture Partners.

Finally, we are extremely excited about the addition of Ana Ortiz to our NY team. Ana will be joining us at the end of September.
