On Sunday, LaunchSquad client MediaZone became the first online broadcaster to offer live and on demand access to the New York City Marathon. MediaZone partnered with NBC Sports on this historic feat, which featured cameras that allowed viewers to track individual runners along the course as well as seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong in his successful bid to break the 3 hour mark. The New York Times (sub. required) wrote a nice piece about the MediaZone offering. Stay tuned for more great news from MediaZone in the coming months.
